How to Pause Website Monitoring

If you know ahead of time that you will be taking down your website for construction, or for any other reason, you may wish to temporarily pause the website monitoring service. This will allow you to work on the site without the monitor seeing this as unexpected downtime, which will prevent the monitor email notifications from sending out to you. • From the SiteBackup dashboard, click the Pause button to the right of the Website Monitor you wish to update.

• Your monitor will now show the paused status. To re-enable the monitor at a later time, simply click the Start button.
