How to Change a Smartermail Password in the Control Panel

This article walks through the steps to change a Smartermail user's password via the HostMySite control panel. This requires that you are a domain administrator with control panel access.

This article assumes that you are already familiar with how to log in to the customer control panel. If you do not know how to log in or have forgotten your password, please refer to this article first.

  • On the control panel Home tab, click "Manage" under the Email section.

  • Click on the Username of the user whose password will be updated.

  • Click "Edit Settings".

  • Enter a new password, then click Next. Please note the password requirements listed for a secure password.

  • Click the Finish button.
