How to Set the Storage Quota for an Open-Xchange Mailbox

This article describes how to set the Storage Quota (that is, the maximum size of an individual user's mailbox) for an Open-Xchange user.

This article assumes that you are already familiar with how to log in to the customer control panel. If you do not know how to log in or have forgotten your password, please refer to this article first.

  • Click the Mail tab.
  • Click the username you want to set the limit for.
  • Click the Storage tab.
  • Click the Edit button.
  • Select Custom Quota Value and enter the size limit in Kilobytes (KB). Here are some conversions to help you: Click Submit to apply the new quota.
    • 1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1,024 Megabytes (MB)
    • 1 Megabyte (MB) = 1,024 Kilobyes (KB)
    • 1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1,048,576 Kilobytes (KB)
    • A value of 0 means unlimited (that is, up to the overall size limit of the domain)
