How to Install YUM on CentOS

If you have a core VPS, you may need to install YUM before you begin. To do so, connect to your server via SSH, then use the command below.

http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/x86_64/Packages/{rpm-4.8.0-47.el6.x86_64,rpm-libs-4.8.0-47.el6.x86_64,gpgme-1.1.8-3.el6.x86_64,nss_compat_ossl-0.9.6-1.el6.x86_64,pygpgme-0.1-18.20090824bzr68.el6.x86_64,python-iniparse-0.3.1-2.1.el6.noarch,python-pycurl-7.19.0-8.el6.x86_64,python-urlgrabber-3.9.1-9.el6.noarch,rpm-python-4.8.0-47.el6.x86_64,yum-3.2.29-69.el6.centos.noarch,yum-metadata-parser-1.1.2-16.el6.x86_64,yum-plugin-fastestmirror-1.1.30-30.el6.noarch}.rpm

After you run this command, YUM will be available.
