Adding Aliases Inside the Symantec Spam Manager

This KB outlines how to add aliases inside of your Spam Manager account to consolidate quarantines for multiple users inside of one Spam Manager.

  • Log in to your Spam Manager at with the account you wish to use as your primary or master account
  • Click on the Options Tab and select Manage Aliases
  • Enter in the address in the Add an Alias box and click Add

You'll see the address listed as pending. An email will be sent to the other address to confirm the request. Once the address(es) are validated you'll start receiving quarantined spam for each alias inside the primary account to which you added them under. The recipient will be displayed in the quarantine listing and any released message will be sent to it's recipient.

Note: Aliased users will not see other users in their quarantine. Only the account under which aliases are added will see the aliased users quarantines.
