How to Change an Exchange Password

Password changes for Exchange mailboxes are done via the Hosted Exchange management tools within the control panel. For security reasons, it is not possible to recover an Exchange mailbox's password.

This article assumes that you are already familiar with how to log in to the customer control panel. If you do not know how to log in or have forgotten your password, please refer to this article first.

Account Administrator
Exchange User


I'm an Account/Organization Administrator

  • On the control panel Home tab, click "Mailboxes" under the Exchange section.

  • Click on the display name of the user you wish to edit.

  • Click on the display name of the user again.

  • Click the "Change Password" button.

  • Enter a new password twice, then click Submit.

 

I'm an Exchange user

  • From the User Account tab in the control panel, click "Login".

  • Click "Change Password".

  • Enter your current password, and then enter the new password twice. Click Submit.
