How to Upgrade or Downgrade a Plesk License

Posted by Josh Tobiansky on February 11 2013 09:13 PM

By default, Plesk will include a license for hosting 10 domains and a single language pack for the Plesk admin interface. If you wish to upgrade the Plesk license to include more domains, or more language options to Plesk, you can do so via the customer control panel.

This article assumes that you are already familiar with how to log in to the customer control panel. If you do not know how to log in or have forgotten your password, please refer to this article first.

  • On the control panel Home tab, click "Subscriptions" under the Account section.

  • Click on the Subscription ID or Subscription Name of the Plesk VPS you will be updating.

  • From the Licenses tab, click on the Key Number or Description link for your Plesk License Key.

  • Click the "Upgrade License" button.

  • From the drop down menu, select your updated license limits. You can increase Plesk to use a larger number of domains or language packs. Click Next.

  • Review your order, select your payment method from the drop-down menu, then click "Place Order". Your payment will begin processing. You should receive an e-mail within a few minutes, once the payment has successfully processed. The Plesk license should automatically update once this is completed.
