How to Add a Second Windows FTP User

To create additional FTP accounts, follow the steps below.

This article assumes that you are already familiar with how to log in to the customer control panel. If you do not know how to log in or have forgotten your password, please refer to this article first.

  • On the control panel Home tab, click "Manage Website" under the Websites section.

  • Click on "Site Users".

  • Click on “Add User”.

  • By default, “New Service User” is selected. Click Next.

  • Enter the display name, login, domain name, and password for the user. Click Next.

  • Click Next again.

  • Click Finish to finalize creation of the new user.
